what exactly is fine india steel? I have an ebay W&B wedgey coming that has it, but what is it? Surely it isn't made in india. Is it a kind of sheffield steel? Or is the mystic unobatainable alloy that never needs to honed or stropped?

Excellent work, sir. I am impressed. Now you have me wanting to try making some. One day soon I might try it with an exotic wood like you did!
