Great blend of color & design
Mosaic pin's a nice touch. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Very nice scales. Stunning work.

First, wonderful work. My favorite here, hands down.
I was wondering how you glued the wood together.
Thanks,

Epoxy. Sanded the slabs to the correct thickness, gave one side a thin coat of epoxy and clamped them together between a couple scrap hunks of wood over night.

Awesome! Thanks for the information. I am planing on using some burl veneer for the outside of some scales and was thinking of doing it just as you did. I feel more confident now.
Thanks.

I am getting ready to cut another dozen scales tomorrow. I was going to do another bloodwood backed set and a yellowheart backed set. This time the ebony will be much thinner so I get a larger contrast ring around the scale.
