    I had just found a place to get some amboyna burl pen blanks (6")but was unsure how they'd look.
    Now I think it's a definite purchase.Great scales,wonderful work.You are one of the standard setters for sure,Glen.

    nice work! Burl is hard to work with right? Doubly impressed.

    Try bellforestproducts.com for the burl. I ordered a bunch of different exotic woods from them in 1"x 1"x12", perfect for scales. I thought the prices were reasonable.
