I think tiger striping the blade would definitely be in keeping with the Strider look... you could always email Mick and see what he says

Now I know that scale pattern is pretty common in the knife world, but wtf is Strider? You mean like the video game back in the day? I don't see the connection...?

Ahhhh Strider Knives- ok. I've seen Jens' stuff and a lot of other guys use this style (I'll probably use it myself too) but got confused when guys started talking about how Strider would like something on the spine and could use it to "smite the dark lord" and all that. I thought you meant the old video game at that point lol!
