    Default Sheffanese and Curly Q

    Here are my first two forged razors that made it to completion. The wedge on a stick is made from a spring from the scrap yard and curly q is made from a section of drill rod, (I do not remember what kind of drill rod I ordered. I bought it from MSC and it is color coded yellow on the end, if yu know the color code that MSC uses I would like to know what kind of steel it is.

    It is my idea of a cross between a Sheffield wedge and a Japanese style razor. It is about a 7/8's.


    The wedge is wrapped with rattan the curly q's scales are made of juniper.
