Default Joseph Rodgers Matchless 6/8 / Wattle scales

J.Rodgers 6/8 hollow, round point that had tarnish &pitting at the toe end of spine, both sides. I hand sanded as gently as I could so as to not compromise the engraving so not perfect.

Unfortunately tangs a bit askew so closes off centre but no scale contact so I won't rush to correct it.

    Original pewter wedge.

Wattle (Acacia) scales with a little sap wood showing. 2000 grit burnished oil finish.

Bevel's nearly set. Off to finish honing & shave test .

Well, shave test passed with flying colours.
Typical close shaving, smooth Sheffield steel. Lurrrvve it.
