Thanked: 13245Fantastic work!!!!!! The design always is in the eye of the beholder, I, like some of the others, am more of a traditionalist....But I hugely respect the quality and beauty of the work that you did there
Skilled craftsmanship has a beauty all in itself....

Thanked: 10Hey there Paul,
I was directed to your newest project and I couldn't be more impressed. Your work takes leaps and bounds in execution and I don't know what more I can add since I believe it all has been said for the most part. The great thing is that the work you are doing, although not traditional, is totally you. It is great that you are able to express your personality through something as utilitarian as a razor and I commend you on that as well as a beautiful job well done.
Kurt

Thanks Glen! That's quite the compliment to me and I really appreciate it. I've been collecting the bits of info you're sharing here for quite a while and it's really helped.
I know what you mean about the "traditionalist" aspect. I felt a little guilty about this one at first. Now I'm really happy with it, but when I look at it I still kind of see the old shape
Serious thanks Kurt. It means a lot to me.
This has been a really enjoyable project. I get the same kind of feeling that I used to get from hearing a song in my head, figuring out how to play it, taking it to the studio, then hearing it on vinyl. You have a picture in your head, and the process of making it into something tangible in your hands is what it's all about. Hopefully I can get into real customs someday.
Actually, seeing some of your razors really inspired me to find out what I really want in a custom.
I'm still trying to figure out the perfect scales for the W&B from you. And don't worry, I'm not going to butcher it. *rimshot*
