C.W.Dahlgren Frameback in ivory with a special tang/monkeytail.
Picked this one up for about 10 Usd. at a local fleamarket. Took out the pins, a few hours of sanding the blade, sanded and reshaped the scales at the pivot end. Microfasteners at the moment but will repinn later. Looks nice, doesn't it?

I like the fact that it's back in the original scales. They are lovely. As vgod said, be gentle with them when re-pinning. I split some i was practising on very easily. Nice frameback indeed.

Nice find & Nice job
Shaved with it yet ???The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Got Shaptons from Howard yesterday so today i honed it up together with two other restored swedes, a Klas Törnblom and a C.V. Heljestrand nr 29. Test shaved all three, and all went well as i removed 3 days of neglect
