    It's actually very heavy which made me doubt it was pumice & it is quite porous despite the smooth finish.
    I just know it broke easily.
    The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

    That is really neat. Thanks for sharing the info. I just received a couple brushes in rough shape that I was considering tossing. Thanks to you, I now know that they can be restored.

    True, but the volume of epoxy can drastically effect curing time with some epoxies, so giving it extra time probably isn't a bad idea since there may be a lot of epoxy in the bottom of that brush.
