    Default 3/8 Ivory Heljestrand

    Hello,
For your perusal a very small, but perfectly formed C.V.Heljestrand.
I've left the original grinding marks & just cleaned it up a bit. It didn't have much more than staining!
It's next to a 7/8 Friodur to give an idea of how small & manoueverable it is.
Shaves great & is a joy under the nose!

Looks like a mini MK31 version

Great shavers and love those original Heljestrand scales. The ones I got in my possession always had a crack at the toe side so re scaling was at order.
I'm glad to see yours are immaculate.

    Lovely.

Very nice, I like the factory tooling marks. That is what a razor is supposed to look like.
The shape of the blade, finish and scales make for a super classy razor.

    Thanks fellas,
It's a great razor. I got it after reading a post of Lynn's about how small stuff can give a great shave too. It made me realise that i was heading toward bigger blades without having tried the full range.
The scales are very nice, but it's the jimped thumb notch & the nick between that & the blade that i like the most!

The little uns have their place eh.
Ditto on the grind lines. Looks a beauty.
