Somehow got locked out of my AntiqueHoosier id and this was one I started with and then had to restart in 2008. Same guy, just cured of RAD and peacefully stropping on a Kanayama and using the Hunter day in day out. Lost my passion for flipping tons of straights and brushes. Just settled in nicely as I approach 55.

Sold ALL of my straights that I had owned over the past 8 years except for my Great Great Grandfather's W&B and the Hunter. I traded a MK33 in abalone shell for the Hunter. Certainly was valued maybe 3 times or more than the Hunter on paper but the sentiment wooed me. I bought and sold over 800 straights since 2007. I was fortunate to have owned some really nice and historical ones but in the end, I lost my passion for it. Down to using simple boar brushes too, Semogue primarily and a couple sub $10 Omegas. Still enjoy a great shave but I miss a day or two now and then and that NEVER happened between December 2006 and maybe late last year.
