Rescale with Koa
I have been shaving with this Morris "Collegiate" made in Solingen. Hopefully I didn't ruin a collector's item. It is a good shaver, but I didn't like the cheesy plastic scales, so I made some new scales out of Koa and made the wedge out of ebony.

That's a lovely job! It looks great now. I'd have been tempted to keep the three pins though, but it looks fine without.

Gorgeous piece of timber. Wish I could see it live.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

The razor has beatiful lines, the workmanship looks flawless.
The wood and the finish you used really make the wood shimmer.
Great work!!

Thanks for the comments, input and encouragement. I make knives, but this was my first stab at making scales. I am now very excited about doing some more and getting into restoration of blades.
