A&N in Ivory
I've not posted this one here before, but this is kind've second time round on the restore. To explain, this was one of the 1st razors i had a go at, but as i've progressed i've begun to see my work with a more critical eye.
The blade had been cleaned, but is was scratched a lot more than i wanted. There was terrible evidence of the hones & the scales were far too loose.
This morning while i was dealing with a W&B, i thought i'd sort this one out at the same time, & i'm very pleased with the results!
Sanded up to 1200 then over the buffer & polisher. Tightened up the scales & honed to a better standard than i could achieve last time round.

Not too shabby!
Did you take the blade out for all this, or leave it in?

Thanks mate. I left it in. I don't like to take the risks involved if it's not necessary. I also prefer to avoid the hassle, if i'm honest!

Nice work there Ben. Looks like a keeper.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
