    Default J. Allen 6/8 in Amboyna Burl

    This took me forever since I just had my 2nd baby. Been working on it in 10 minute increments for who knows how long. This one is Brass lined Amboyna Burl with CA finish and Brass/Amboyna wedge. Blass is mirror polished 6/8 quarter hollow Joseph Allen and Sons NON-XLL.

    I made the wedge with brass sheet and 2 pieces of wood sandwiched together with T-88 epoxy.

    Love the before & after's. What a transformation! The figuring in the wood is beautiful & that wedge looks great!
