Thanked: 13245W&B 7/8 Barbers Special in Purpleheart
This is another one coming out of the shop, a Wade and Butcher "For Barbers Use" with the appropiate notch to match... 7/8 Chopper in Purpleheart scales with a Ebony wedge and double stacked brass pins and washers.... I couldn't quite get rid of all the pitting on this one but most of it went bye bye.... Took a little doing but by flareing out the wedge end of the scales I got almost perfect balance out of it, even with all the metal in the blade The finish is satin wipe on Poly, I think around 8 coats maybe a few more, I actually lost count on this one

Nice chunka steel there Glen.
Like the flared end too. Get to see more of that pretty purpleheart. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Real nice shape to those scales.

Very nice! The scales look to be a good size in proportion to that chunky blade. I'm liking satin finishes at the moment.
