W & B 5/8 with koa with maple wedge.
I've spent the last couple of weeks making this in my spare time. The original scales were cracked at the pivot pin so I made some new ones out of koa and the wedge is maple. The finish is a hand rubbed poly / oil. The pins are silver nickel and the washers stainless.

Stunning timber. Fine wraps for a fine blade.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
