Thanked: 1515/8 Wostenholm Pipe Razor
I thought I would share the pics. I would have put them in the gallery but this one isn't that worthy. This is a Pipe razor that I put a little time into for someone looking for a small Sheffield Blade. The scales are maple and the wedge is walnut. The scale blanks, wedge and hardware are all provided by Dan aka Floppy Shoes. I thought it turned out nice for small Sheffield. The front pit is not as tight as it should be I know and I am going to attempt to tighten them or perhaps unpin and start over. The blade also does not center, but it is tight and does not scrub so it is purely cosmetic. I am honing it tomorrow so I'll shave with it on Tuesday morning and see what she does before I sterilize it and send it on. Feel free to post any comments of any nature. I am over my ego from last week.
Thanks

Looks like you did a very nice job....should be a very good serviceable shaver with a little pizazz...

Nice job worthy of the gallery. Hope there are more restores from you to come!
Hope a mod moves this to the gallery w/o asking.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Leaving it to rust & rot is unworthy but it has new scales , a polish & soon to be shave ready - Worthy indeed.!
Purrty little razor. I'd be a happy customer. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
