Bahama Mama "Kama"

This is a 7/8 full hollow ground Koch & Schafer #23 "Kama" Solingen-Manganese Steel razor..... Wrapped in green malachite marbled acrylic scales with an opaque white wedge to match...
The pins are brass with double stacked brass washers...
The razor was un-used with no hone wear and a full 7/8 round point blade...The original scales were cracked at the pivot pin so they came right off.... The finish is near perfect mirror, there were three minute marks that if you look really, really, close you can still find after I buffed it out...
The scales reminded me of the Islands so it got the name "Bahama Mama Kama"

Beautiful, beautiful razor. But the colour of the scales is... different? Yes. Most certainly different. In an interesting way.

Nice piece! I like the contrasting pointed tips of the scales with the round point of the blade.

Great looking razor....I love what your doing with your scales Glen!!! The materials you're using really enhance the look of the razor.

I like it.
I really like how you took a nearly production shape to the scales, but gave it a little more style.
They look "professional custom" rather than "professional stock", if that makes any sense.
Either way, great work!

Very nicely done Glenn. It all fits together well and I am a big fan of Kama blades.

We don't see enough of them. Keep up the good work!

Very Nice! One could spend a lot of time just gazing at those scales.

I like the "aqua" theme. Is that some sort of radical looking conch shell for a backdrop? and how did you come by that? I thought you lived on a mountain in the middle of a large land mass
