Wade & Butcher, Sheffield, England ~ "Maxfarce""
Here's another restore for one of our members Don aka "Maxfarce".
He send me this W&B and wanted the blade restored with the famous faux tortoise scales.
The blade had some heavy hone, edge wear and the usual scratches and usage wear. I removed all off it, cleaned, polished and buffed her back up to showroom condition.
It's a very nice wedge razor. The blades sides are practically flat making it nearly a true wedge. I feel really lucky and humbled to be working on such precious razors.
Don, enjoy this truly amazing razor!
Brand: W&B, Sheffield, England
Grind: Wedge
Width: 6/8
Total weight: 2.5 Oz
Total cutting edge: 2.75 inches
Wedge: Transparent Acrylic
Pins/Washers: Brass/Nickel Silver

It's a beauty!
Thanks in advance, Max, from Maxfarce. I love the faux tortoise shell scales and the blade now has a simple elegance, pretty impressive. I'm eager to see it in person.
I'll explain the Maxfarce some time.
Great work!

I take my hat off to you Max. I don't have the patience to do a job like that let alone the skill. Really beautiful !
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
