Default Wade&Butcher back from the dead in Indian Sambar Stag scales

This is an old 5/8 hollow ground spike that looked like it had been buried in muck for a hundred years. The blade got a lot of sanding. It ran from 220 to 12000 grit, then 3 pastes on the buffing wheels and then a bit of Maas. The blade had not been polished yet when I took the photos. It really shines now. It is pretty much a mirror finish now except for one tiny spot on the blade.

I was trying to decide what I wanted to scale this one in. I have a hunk of real Indian Sambar Stag left from another project so I cut the antler down, sanded the life out of it to get the right thickness and shape, put an ebony wedge in it and pined the blade. I was not sure if I liked it, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Now the question becomes, do I keep it or put it in the classifieds.

It's very nice! I love the spikes with the rounding on the spine.
If you're not sure what to do with it, give it a week. If you can still take it or leave it, put it in there. There'll be plenty of guys who will get pretty excited over it.
