These are pics of my 2nd razor, forged, mirror finish and the black bovine horn handle, whit the nickel pins.

    Ola Ferrari,

bem vindo aqui. Trabalho muito legal

Can you make some closer photos from the razor? For what you used this third pin on the scales near the middle? Which steel you used?
    Questions over questions...
By the way, nice tools you have in your forge.

Thanks Red! I don´t have the pics of the 1st razor...It´s ugly...

This job it´s very easy (compared with a long knife), but I still learning to make a good razors, and the next will be a very lightly.

Hello Buddel! I liked the portuguese welcome!

Sorry, I have just one pic.

That´s right, the 3rd pin is a lock for a middle horn spacer. The steel is a 52100 carbon.

    Thanks!

I like Brazil Praia, cerveja, futebol, churrasco, sol, mulheres e muito mais.
Brazil is also the reason, why I begun to interest in straight razors.
My girlfrind was in a cutterly store in Rio (near Metro Carioca) to buy some stuff, and I waited there and saw some Solingen straight razors (Dovo) in the store. They was very expensive. So I looked after my return in germany at ebay and bought my first straight razor - a 5/8 Revisor for 25,- $ in very good conditions and shave ready
Yes guys, 4 years ago this was still possible

This was the beginning of the madness.

    Hey Ferrari,

Welcome to SRP!.. hope you enjoy your stay. I thought I was happy just having success honing my own razor and shaving with it.. must be great to shave with a razor you forged yourself... now that I mention it.. how does it shave?

    Have fun!

    Maarten
