Some people on here believe that the razor should always balance some where on the tang (I do) others believe that it really makes no difference at all....Personally I make sure all the razors I restore are balanced...

Did you use any kind of coloring or is it the natural color?
I actually have never used any sort of stain on scales or on rifle stocks unless specifiaclly requested by the customer...
I love the look of the wood way to much those are natural...
