    Default W&B Barber's Rattler 7/8 in Ziricote'

Another one for Tony, We were going to do just a polish in the original horn scales as they were in pretty good shape... The razor turned out OK, but was crying out for more work...

After talking with Tony he said to just go for it, and opted for a top to bottom restore... I pulled the blade and pushed the polishing up a notch, because now I could work on the blade out of the scales...
I built new scales out of Ziricote' and made the sandwiched wedge out of Olive wood and brass...
This one has all brass hardware including the center pin which is sleeved in brass tubing, I added the brass Rosette's on the center pin (hope you like them Tony) and had to use a nail set to tighten them in, since I did not want to use washers and distract from the look...
Just needs some hone work and she will head home......

    The G @ work...

Ziricote, some really nice wood from S. America.
You don't see it used very much. Very nice choice!
That blade screams for shaving too!

    and congrats to T.

Fantastic!!!! Tony made the right choice letting you go to town on that one. Scales are gorgeous and the wedge is awesome. I really like the scales you've been putting out with those lined wedges.

Good stuff Glen. Really liking the brass on your spacers these last few.

Exotic timber & cool hardware. Great mix there Glen.
