Default Ponds Works - Tiger Maple Re-scale

This Marsh Brother's Ponds Works French point came in from Joe for a re-scale the blade was in good shape so I only rubbed it with some MAAS the old scales however were shot...
We went with Tiger Maple which I did the wedge end to complement the blade shape and added the Bloodwood wedge to bring out the red color in the natural maple grains.... The razor balances to the tang...

The new hardware is pure brass and the finish is Permalyn Gun Stock Finish....

Truly impressive. Many times I tend to prefer traditional scale styles, but these are absolutely perfect for the blade.Love the wood and finish also. One of your finest IMHO,Glen.

Well I'm a sucker for most blondes & those scales are no exception.
French point's float my boat too. Quite a Stunna Glen.

If that tiger maple looks that good ina pic, I imagine it looks even better in person!

The scales and blade go great together. Marshes are smooth shavers!

Scales are great proportionately for that blade. They really do look good!
