4 razors in more traditional shapes
Funny story- A guy on the forums sent these to me to rescale literally over a year ago. I worked on them and then was gone for a while etc. and we ended up out of touch. Then he pretty much disappeared altogether! He's a great guy but went through some stuff so was impossible to reach by phone or email. I didn't want to ship the razors in case he didn't even live there any longer. Finally I heard from him and he was apologetic about his absence. He was ready to get the razors back. I took a look at them and hated them lol. My work just wasn't up to my current standard. So this time he said to just do what I wanted on them and here we have it. 4 razors in really traditional shapes considering what I do sometimes. I'll be relieved once these are back in his hands! lol

He is a lucky guy ! I wish I could get the one and only Philadelph to rescale a couple of traditional vintage blades for me. hint hint.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 171Wow, normally I'm a big fan of some crazy and exotic scales, but those look outstanding. Simple, yet beautiful. Great job
I've been meaning to ask you, too, what part of RI are you from? I grew up in West Warwick, and my parents still live there. Small state.. it's nice to see someone else from there

I really like these Alex, not that I don't like most of yer artistic stuff but these really show off your attention to detail since there are no distractions from the work itself ....

Thanks guys!
I'm not originally from here- just moved here because my girlfriend (fiancé actually- she hates when I just say 'girlfriend' even though it's technically still correct lol) is from RI. I now live in Wakefield on the border of Charlestown. I hate most of RI. I like that I can now walk to gorgeous beaches and some great mountain biking is close by though. So this area is cool.
