Beardsley & Alvord Diamond Edge Double concave wedge
Hello!
I love my latest Ebay catch!
A Beardsley & Alvord 13/16 Diamond Edge double concave with barbers notch!
Needs some sanding and polishing, and the edge is not too good, but that can be cured, the scales (solid horn I belive) on the other hand is in great shape for it's age!
And will you look at the "Diamond Edge" etching!!!!!! Is that deepetching or what???!!!! Will look absolutely stunning when the blade is polished!
Lets just hope she hones up well as wellLast edited by cako72; 05-18-2009 at 05:44 PM.

That seems more like a stamp than etching to my untrained eyesFind me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage

Yea, perhaps it's a stamp, but I don't mind how it was made, I just love the depth of that thing, giving the letters really good contrast!

Hey, cool! We're twins! Mine was most definitely etching, not stamped...it came off with just a little sanding. Interesting!

Excellente. That should come up like new.
Tang stamp looks healthy too. Good buy !The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
