    Glen,

Would you mind revealing the formula you used as far as the ingrediants inside your tumbler?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Well my southern Idaho friend, I have never changed from the original formula in the tumbler thread, but I know that thread has become so large it is almost a pain to read the whole thing... I use RCBS treated walnut for 3 days then RCBS treated corncob For 3 more days I put a little Tutlewax Liquid Rubbing Compound in the Walnut about every 6 months and Turtle Wax Liquid Polishing Compound in the Concob every 6 months too...
When I say a little, I turn the tumbler on and squirt it once around in a circle on top like you would put syrup on panckes....

I figured you would see the BOKER in the title Doc

No this one is for Texas Bob...

What a great shaver though, the steel is just soooooo smooth, you know better than most, Boker's have a very silky feel to them, and this is one of the best I have felt....

Default Any Info on this razor?

First, thanks to Glen for such a fine job. I really like what he has done.

Can anyone tell me anything about this razor? I picked it up off of eBay a while back because I liked the look of the etching and because I had heard that vintage Bokers were good razors.

I found some info at the Boker web site showing the different tree symbols used over the years:

That image is from Böker - Your Knife Made In Solingen.
To me the symbol on the razor looks most like the 1900-1924 version in the above, but not exactly like any of them.

I know Boker had both a German and a US presence but if I read the above web page correctly it seems that all razors were made in Germany. The etching on the blade is obviously an American design so was presumably made for the American market, probably to Boker NY's specs.

If anyone can add anything I'd appreciate it!

I have a 1906 boker catalog in the brotherhood you might take a look at.
