I have got a stubby blade just like that one. It almost makes me think they were designed that way but I still don't know. Awesome work Glen.

So waht is the length of the blade? and what is that block it is on? that looks really cool, like a block of wood and maybe a copper sheet nailed to it?? whatever it is I like the look of it.

Glen,
first, simply - WOW! I have to agree with the common theme here.
I can see the work you put into the blade. It looks great. However, what really sets this razor off for me are the scales. This is a Mickey Mantle 565 foot out-of-the-park home run. They have clean seemingly simple lines, but they perfectly suit the blade. They are opaque enough to convey substance, but clear enough to highlight the blade.
The few scales I've made are mostly traditionally shaped, so I admire everyone here who can really craft good looking "exotic" shaped scales and I really like what you do with yours. I think these are one of your best examples.
