Thanked: 132456/8 Robert Klaas In Acrylic
Another one heading home today, this 6/8 Robert Klaas is for my friend Jimmy.... He requested the "Red Lava" acrylic and let me have some fun other than that, I used a solid black wedge, and the tiny vintage style pins on the wedge and pivot so it would draw more attention to the center pin with the pretty washer.... All hardware is solid brass including the tube and washers for the center pin.... The blade was polished out using grease-less compounds followed by polishing compounds on a low speed buffer.... I took it as far as I deemed safe and it resulted in a near mirror finish... Unfortunately I lost the old "Solingen" wash but even just the tumbler was taking it off....

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

very nice, I like the graining/darker smoke lines showing in the red which seems to be complimented with the razor closed

This time the centerpin was what really made the scales stand out!

Simple and clean with modest embellishment -- I could see this one being used daily for just that touch of custom flair.
