Thanked: 74Wade and Butcher in Ivory Micarta
I got this probably 10 months ago when I was first starting to collect razors and had the best intentions of doing something awesome with it, but never got around to it. I think the smaller size threw me off a little. Plus I tried honing it in the original scales and did not have any joy.
I had been thinking about doing a traditional TI shape for scales for a while now. Well I decided to put my own little spin on it and have the wedge visible past the end of the scales. I used red linen micarta for a little color.
The blade got a good polishand is now ready for the hones.
Pins are nickel and the washers are stainless steel.

Good job on the blade, scale, red micarta spacer and peening.
How'd you like the looks and feel of paper linen micarta? Feels slick, no?

Thanked: 74Yup, pretty slick. Although, it feels like most other shiny sets of scales I have. Pain to keep clean before the final buffing tho. Every thing that is remotely dark shows up on it (like the polishing leftovers from the pins/washers)

Nice work. Like how you tapered the spacer.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
