Exclamation Fancy 6 Day Set: #4 Friday- Carbon

Here is the fourth razor of the set finished. Again, Thomas Turton & Sons, Sheffield with fancy spines. Carbon fiber scales with a false third pin. It's hard to make out the etching in the photos (Friday on top of the spine), but it is more visible up close. The spacer is in fact flush- the one photo looks like it isn't.

I really like the way that spacer looks in those scales. of this set the ones you've done so far this would be my 2nd favorite. very good looking scales, excellent work as always.

I like the subtle back work on the spine and that false third pin is sweet.

I didn't catch the false third pin the first time, good eye singlewedge. that is cool.

Let me guess: you were so awestruck by the photos that you glossed over the text in the first post

Alex you outdid yourself again! It just looks good. What I miss about the photos though is not being able to pick the razor up, feel the weight distribution, how fluid the rotation is through the pin, SHAVE with it, etc

Beautiful work Alex! That spacer is cool! I've been trying to make them contrasting the scales, but the same material as the wedge is perfect! The false 3rd pin really adds a touch of class! Way to go!

Jesus that is a monstrous wedge, too! You could split lumber with that thing.
