    Unusual brush shape. What kind of finish did he use on the brush? I use a boat finish on the ones I turn.

    I think he said it was a marine spar varnish.

    Actually Dave, your pink ivory set that you posted about a while back was what got my wheel in motion to get the handle done. It is his 'Mae West' handle. And it fits my hand perfectly. I asked for this handle shape.

    The knot on the other hand I bought from the golden nib. it is one of the hand tied best badger ones. I did the gluing as I did with my kimson horn brush.
