    Default Nun2sharp's Torrey

    In exchange for a mutant brush, Nun2sharp sent be a rusty mess of a Torrey to restore. I replaced the broken scales with this nicely figured oak I cut off a dead branch. I scraped off the rust but not the patina--I like old things to look old. It came out OK. As you can see, the purple heart spacer doesn't fit quite right. I have trouble eyeballing how much taper to give the spacer. I could use some suggestions. Anyway, here it is:
