Is the same sort of thing feasible in the acrylic family?

Awesome work! Classy, all the way!

I have a laser writer here at work, but have never played with it myself (note to self: play with laser writer!) We have done some similar etching type stuff in acrylic, and actually were able to get alot of depth to it. The power settings had to be just right so it didn't completely melt the acrylic. So, it should be possible to do interesting stuff in/on acrylic too.

Thank you all for your kind words.
I will do one in acrylic and see what I can do. Hadn't thought about that.
All the cutting and engraving is done with a laser.

    Thanks

    Tim

Here is a sample on clear acrylic.

    Tim! Dude!

    Awesome!

You see, I have this "diamond steel" brand razor, and I've been thinking about some ideas for new scales. . .

Seraphim, I may have to send you some test blanks too.

Think "Waterford Crystal" type cuts in acrylic or lexan . . .
