The blade is a Punjo #50 Full Hollow, round point.

Indeed. The lighting and setting don't really do it justice.

From the last pic, it almost looks like one scale is thicker than the other. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

They are. Pay attention to how big the pin looks on the right versus the left. I'll try to take a better pic tonight.

You know, after taking a good look at it, the scales do look a little off. Seems I dozed off at the sander. Thanks for pointing it out.

Is this the straight razor that you sold on ebay the other day?

It looks great.. Good job! How did it look before you started?
Do you know what period the PUNJO razors were produced? I think I read somewhere that is was in the 1930s..(?)

    Edit: I found this page..

    Razor makers

Is this list correct? I'm a bit of a beginner when it comes to Straight Razors, but am I correct to assume you can trace the maker of your razor here and approximate year of production?

Paul Stommel, Solingen in 1922 and 1932, Oststrasse 4-6 in 1939. Brand name: 'Punjo'. Open-blade razor maker.
