Max Strikes Again (for Ogie!)
Here is a double job that I asked Max for. A couple of old and beat up razors that he made new. The first one is a Gold Bug. I'll post the before's and then the after's:

I heard good things a couple months ago; I think Glen had a post about a Bug he restored and Lynn chimed in with one that he had in his collection - since then I kept my eyes open. I couldn't find that old post, maybe Glen could link to it.

Those are outstanding resto's. Max is a gifted gentleman, I would say that he treats each razor as his own. His is work maxsolutely awsome! Enjoy those blade.

Wow, two amazing restorations. You should be jumping up and down and Max should be giving himself many pats on the back.
I have a "Ladwig's Special" spike point. Absolutely identical scales, identical blade even down to the originally gold washed tang. They have to be the same razor just branded differently.
Oh, crap, I shouldn't have said that. The Ladwig's Special was going to be my little secret.
