this stuff was from Texas Knife supply. I have 2 different types of tortoise pattern on order from Masecraft, so, we'll see how that stuff is too.
this stuff from Texas Knife looked really cheap initially..but, it musta just been the odd finish that it came with.. maybe from the rough/wavy saw marks...Anyway..it finished veyr very well and I will buy it again if I don't like the Masecraft stuff.

Nice flowing scales. great look
May well be made in Philly. The US razor industry was heavily influenced by immigrant Sheffielders IIRC.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

The curve of your scales is dramatic and aesthetically pleasing and compliments the blade well.
That's a nice finish on them too - that material does look really questionable when you start with it. You did a good job taking all of the initial marks out of it.
I especially love the shaping work you did at the pivot end of the scales. Nice job!
