Default Joseph Smith 6/8 in faux abalone

Blade was shortened from 2.75" to 2.5", re-scaled in faux abalone. Still on the fence about this material, sometimes I like it sometimes I don't. This one I like, maybe because of the shape of the scales.

Blade still has some pitting. its a near wedge.

Yep, nice work & material. A kinda 'cracked ice look' about it.

I think Oz hit it on the head, it is like multicolored cracked ice. The shape of the scales complements the blade too. Tres chic!

I have some very similar material that I am trying to work with now. I am not sure how I will like it either, but in my opinion your razor there looks very nice. Certainly one I would want in my collection. Great work!

Nice scales I like the look of the faux abalone that you used.
