    very nice glen!

    I am curious though as to why the owner wanted a rescale. did they not like wood scales, or was it something about the shape? Just curious

    Yeah... I was kind of wondering about that one myself... it would have been better without it.

    Personally, I like it. If it was just a little bit off, it would look sloppy. As it is, it's clearly deliberate.

    Not everything needs to be, or even should be, perfectly symmetrical, perfectly polished, or perfectly anything else.

    An a damascus blade like this, I think it adds really nice character

    I don't think everything needs to be perfect, but I agree with Alex in that most of these razors look better without "file" work except in rare circumstances (bill ellis). Didn't mean to jack the thread though, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one
