Thread: 7/8 Friodur with custom scales

I've just received this beauty... It's a 7/8 Friodur with Pink Ivory scales I had ordered to a spanish fellow. I had seen these beveled scales by Kevor:

And I liked them so much I asked my friend to make something similar. He did a great job, and the beveled scales match very well with the Friodur's worked back.

Another very different set of scales for that style Friodur, & yet again, they look great! Kevor should appreciate that comment after the trauma he had with those bevelled scales!

Preciosa!! I love the Friodurs, and at some point I would like to have a 7/8, where did you buy the razor? And just in case i need it in the future, keep your friend's details!!!

That's a fantastic shape! I like the way the scales cradle the blade. Is that a metal (nickel?) spacer?

Mandrake, ¿que tal compatriota? My friend sells the friodurs, with custom scales or with the original ones (plastic), as you wish. But he's moving to Moscow, i've sent you a PM.

mrbhagwan: the spacer is made of "latón", I think the word in english for latón is brass, but i'm not sure (it's copper + zinc aleation)
