    Default J Smith&Sons 8/8 Wedge with 24K gold Scales

    This is an old 1865 J Smith and sons wedge razor reworked.They are very nice shavers.The scales on this one have 24K gold milled powder mixed in with the swirl.This belongs to a member here.He can choose to have the other scales shown installed if he does not like the ones that are on it.It will be ready to ship,along with its twin brother tomorrow.Twin brother is on another post(green scales).Best regards GAry

    When I saw this thread, I half expected a blade shoved in between two ingots. Talk about a letdown. Not to say that these scales aren't awesome, because they are.
    But i'll be really impressed when you make scales out of these:
