    Default Beautiful Bocote

These razors are incredible. I am a newbie, new-old stock, I guess you'd say: used a straight razor for a time several years ago. I didn't know what I was doing. Now I'm 48 and returning after taking time to try to learn a lot.

Anyway, these are some of the most beautiful razors I have ever see. Remarkable creftsmanship.

How would I go about getting one similar to these?

Groomsmens razors.... a nice momento, and the razors, like the idea, are excellent love those scales. Maybe we will have 8 new members for SRP. Keep up the exemplary work. Your skill is second to none.

Indeed it was and I remember that project. It was lots of fun. Bocote is such a beautiful wood imo.

    Thumbs up

Beautiful work. Great choice with the tung oil as well. I was toying around with making a set of wood scales and finishign with tung. I refinished a dresser with it years back and it really accentuates the grain nicely. I really like the way it looks on these scales as well. Superb !

    Default Speechless indeed

I was fortunate enough to receive one of these blades, and speechless is perhaps the best description of our reaction to them. Several of us shaved with straight blades already, but having such a beautifully restored blade sitting on my shelf will always conjure up memories of that marvelous wedding weekend. :-) Many thanks to you, Max, for your wonderful work. I cannot sing enough praise for your craftsmanship.
