Default Joseph Elliot 6/8 in LVS Abalone Acrylic

Pretty nasty blade when I got it, cracked scales, etc.., cleaned it up and it went through some greaseless compounds. Left some pitting.

Scales, Laminated shell veneer, abalone, black backing, wedge dark emerald green swirl acrylic. Hard to tell but in certain lights a lot of green comes to view in these scales, and the wedge looks awesome with it.

    nickel silver steel pins
    SS #0 washers
    inner brass #0wide washers

    Thumbs up

Love it. That looks like a different faux abalone than what you used on the Smith & Sons... gorgeous swirls and colors! Nice job!

    EDIT: That's probably because it's real #$%@ing abalone. Apparently, I can't read.

That is sexy. I would love to know how you bevel your edges. I tried to use this material and ended up cracking it during pinning and never did make the beveled edge of the scales look right.
    Again, really nice!

Fantastic job! I love the shape of the scales. They really do look great, & the blade suits them well.
