Stunning piece. Forgive my ignorance, but is the long tang functional as well as beautiful?

Thanked: 137Absolutely gorgeous, one day when I win the lottery I'll be asking you to make me one similar, only a wedge grind with a french point. Loving that long tail, and the fact it's brass just accentuates the beauty of the Damascus patterning. An absolute masterpiece, and really well done. Top work.

Thanked: 324The long tail gives the razor extremely comfortable and easy handling. It's definitely functional. I've had a lot of customers order more than one razor and I've never had a customer order a short tang after getting a long tang.
I'm hoping to have something new to post maybe sometime tomorrow. It'll be a surprise.

All the Best Stuff . . .
My dear Robert,
Your creation is magnificent. All the more for me to admire your work and hope that someday I will own one of your razors.
Although no expert, looking at that razor I can already feel its perfect balance. What's more, the razor is not only lovely to look at, something about it also conveys its worthy shaving capability.
Regards,
Obie
