Thanked: 20Beautiful restoration. I also like the scales, especially the bolster on the end. You wound up with a really nice looking razor. I'd be proud if I could achieve the same results someday.

I just got one just this yesterday from my barber for free,it's not in that good of shape,the blade has a fair amount of rust and pits in it but,that's what I want mine to look like.

Ronnie brother, I'm about to start my Satinedge and I'm debating a few options for cleaning the scales. What method did you go with?

Thanked: 1184Turned out very nice Ronnie. Nice and clear. Satinedge is one of my favorites. If you guys take these to the buffer be warned , they heat up quick and melt in a heartbeat. If I am trying to save the old scales I do all the work by hand.
