Default Modified Red Imp 133 in Padauk Scales

I just thought that I'd share my newly restored Red Imp 133. I got this from my uncle way back when and just never got around to really making it special. It's a super smooth shaver that left me with a hair free face.

As you'll notice it's not exactly a square tip. That's because I (stupidly) dropped the razor and broke off the tip a while back. O well, live, learn, and make something out of your mistakes.

    Enjoy,
    Kevin

I do like what you've done with your 133...nice save on the toe as well. Imo, you made it a nicer/friendlier shaver, when ya dropped it.

    Thanks,

    Mac

    A beauty!

Really like the non-traditional scale shape, nice lines to those.

You had to rub it in didn't you ..... Just kidding. Thanks for the comments everyone!

O, I forgot to mention that the spacer is Oak and that the finish is a mix between mineral oil and tung oil prepped with rubbing alcohol. A little unorthodox I know, but it turned out very nice and natural.

Nice save & nice finish on the timber.
Great close up on the pivot area
