It's not a Motorcycle...It's a CHOPPER!!!
This one is for a member, and a lucky one at that. I hope he enjoys it!! It's one of the best looking razors I have ever seen.

Very very nice. Good job. Can you share info on the pins? Original? One piece? Are they from the guy in Germany that turns them on a jeweler's lathe?
Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the info. I have one of the wedge grind versions that has POTENTIAL for such restoration (no bug bites or cracks, intact washers, light oxidation) but potential still takes a master's hand to transform it. So, it's been sitting in one of my boxes. Some day.
There are some vintage straights that are true icons. I would argue that the W&B Chopper in either hollow ground like you show here or the wedge is one of a handful of the true razor "icons". Their consistently high prices bear this out.

Icon, no doubt. I could just stare at it all day. I would love to see pics of your wedge version. I have been looking for one for a while.

Gents, I'm extremely proud to report this is my razor.
Although I've only recently discovered straights, I snagged this beast on looks alone and asked Russell if he'd perform his magic. Absolutely stunning work, my friend and I'm so lucky we live in the same town! You pick the venue for our next lunch - it'll be worth every penny!
Here are a few pics of the "before" condition. A handsome razor then, stunning now:
