Thanked: 125Razor in Red
Here is another restore for a forum member. This is a no-name, presumed Sheffield steel which was apparently used in the medical field, per the original scales having a medical insignia on them.
Scales are red acrylic with a black and red spacer, brass pins and washers. For the wedge, I actually just used some vulcanized fiber, (aka: fish paper, liner material) and superglued a couple of differently colored pieces together. Let it set for a few days, then sanded it to shape. Worked very well.
Blade MFG: Unknown
Blade Grind: Full Hollow
Scales: Red Acrylic
Wedge: Black & Red
Pins: Brass
Washers: Brass

Red scales are always my favorites... blood red.
You know those scales look manufactured... maybe because the bevels seem so precise.
Interesting wedge idea, I should try it.
Thanks for posting
