Default Late model Wosty Pipe Razor

Very nice later model 6/8 Wosty that came in for some selective rust removal on tang & spine plus a hone job.
Yeah, no before pics again ..... but I did take some of the edge as I'm habitually using my el cheapo microscope now.

Was able to go to town on the spine but as it was an assembled restore I used the dremel & the 3M rotary bristle discs on the tang & then buffed overall avoiding the gold wash. Electrical tape was my very good friend on this job

Scales were buffed & then polished with the Novus system & then it was onto the edge.

Unfortunately due to just one bad rust spot, had to cut a new bevel past it but lost little in width, maybe 0.5mm at most.
One of the easiest razors I've ever honed. Like honing a Dubl Duck, no dramas, no microchips & then the edge rewards you with a perfect shave.
Customer picks up next week so I get to enjoy another shave or 2

    Default Edge "before" pics

Here's some of the problem spots on this razor that was sold as being in "excellent condition"

Nice looking razor lovely work there, and very nice looking edge under magnification, great save. I know from experience you do a great job with the hones.

I'm drooling! I've wanted a pipe razor for quite a while now. It's classic. Very nice work!!!
