Default Jacks Boker Red Injun No 101

This razor is for a friend and is going to be his first straight. He bought the razor as just the blade (which is in great shape) with no scales. He wanted just plain black scales. So we did some looking and decided on Black G10. I used an old metal spacer I had, and all nickel hardware. Hand domed the washers to give it a little extra. I received a lot of help from thephill on this one he did a lot of sanding and some polishing. I hope Jack enjoys his new razor!

Man I'm happy with how this turned out. So simple, clean, and nice. What else can you ask for? I have a feeling it's going to shave like a champ as well. That is the paper G10 btw, nice amount of flex, not near as stiff as the Jade Ghost. No visable grain either, just smooth black, exactly what Jack wanted. I can't wait for him to see it in person.

You mean paper micarta. There's no such thing as paper G10.

G10 is a glass-reinforced resin material. Micarta on the other hand is a resin material reinforced with layers of 'fiber', most often paper, linen or canvas.

None the less great job on the Red Injun!

    Thx for sharing.

I'm in the middle of bidding for a red injun on ebay, along with a king cutter. I've got bids on both of them. Got about 17 hours to go on both.
